Hi,
You can go for Diploma in oil refining, etc. , or else you can apply for job notification issued by government oil companies like IOCL, GAIL, etc. on the basis of ITI, as minimum qualification.

Chemical engineering is the best. But, if you see for campus placement, if company come in your college, then petroleum is better, otherwise chemical engineering is best. Crack GATE go in PSU like ONGC IOCL HPCL BPCL etc.
