You don't need to have any work experience for pursuing Ph.D in Indian universities.

Imperial College, Kings College London, University of East Anglia and ofcourse Oxford and Cambridge. You need to check out the website for the kind of research they do, the research centers they have, the projects they are involved in and also the profiles of prospective supervisors. Sometimes in the websites they give out calls for doctoral applications but you can also visit British Council for more information. Though it is difficult nowadays to get a totally funded ph.d position in UK but you can try through different scholarship programs like the Commonwealth scholarships.

In a good university / colleges there ere eligibility of 55% of marks in MA but its very difficult to get admission without NET/JRF. There are many colleges who offer PhD in different stream of social science where you will get an admission but they charging high tution fee and not providng any schoolarship. So prepare for NET/JRF is more essential

Dear harini. you can become a faculty in business schools and universities and private universities. there will be number of options available. apart from that in industry also positions available.

As per your career path you should go for MSc in astrophysics and than go for PhD programme even very few universities do offer this specialisation .
And if you want to do M.tech than the require education degree will be B.tech or MSc level.
