The selection criteria for D Pharma vary from college to college. Some colleges offer admission based purely on Class 12 marks (mainly Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects).

Other institutions conduct entrance exams at the state or university level. Popular entrance tests like GPAT (for higher studies) and state-level D Pharma entrance exams are also common for some top colleges.

Yes, D Pharma is worth it if you want to quickly start a career in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. It provides professional skills in just 2 years, leading to stable job options like pharmacist, medical representative, or lab assistant.
The course fee is also generally affordable compared to longer degrees. With increasing healthcare needs in India, D Pharma professionals are seeing growing demand in hospitals, clinics, and drug stores.

College ranking for a D Pharma course matters because higher ranked colleges mean better faculty, labs, hospital internships and also industry connections. This leads to better job opportunities and a stronger start in your career though strong practical skills and PCI accreditation are even more crucial.

Yes, many colleges give D Pharma admission on basis of Class 12 scores.

Students will be selected based on their marks in their Class 12, mainly in Science PCB/M.

Some of good colleges offer admission through entrance examinations.
