Hi,

For B.Pharm at Chandigarh University:

Minimum: 50% (eligibility)

Safe score: 70%+

Very safe: 75–85%+

60–65% → borderline but possible

70%+ → good chance

80%+ → easy admission + scholarship chances

Hi,

  • Batch size (Pharma UG+PG combined): 250–300 students

  • Placed: 159 students
     So:

  • The majority get opportunities, but not all

  • Some students:

    • Go for higher studies

    • Or search for off-campus jobs

Hi.

Minimum Academic Cutoff (Main Requirement)

  • You need at least 50–60% marks in 12th (PCB/PCM)

  • Subjects required: Physics + Chemistry + Biology/Maths

In practice:

  • 60%+ is commonly expected for safe admission

  • 50% is the basic eligibility, but competition may push it higher

 Expected Cutoff Range (Recent Trends)

  • General category: 70% – 85%

  • OBC: 65% – 80%

  • SC/ST: 50% – 65%

The B.Pharmacy course at Madras Medical College is a 4-year undergraduate program with about 60 seats available each year. The total course fee is relatively low because it is a government institution, with the overall tuition fee around INR 60,000 – INR 1,80,000 for the entire program, depending on yearly charges and additional fees.

To get a seat, students must complete 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics and obtain at least 45–50% marks. Admission is generally based on merit in the qualifying examination and state counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu. Candidates need
