For the 2025 admission cycle, the *NIPER JEE exam was held on 10 June 2025.
This date applied to candidates seeking admission to M.S. (Pharm.) / M.Pharm. / MBA (Pharm.) / Ph.D. and other postgraduate programmes at all NIPER campuses including Ahmedabad.
Notification/registration opens around March–April 2026
Exam is likely to be in July 2026
Results would then follow in August–September 2026
based on projections and exam trends.

In the NIRF 2025 rankings (Pharmacy category), NIPER Ahmedabad was ranked #21 among all pharmacy institutions in India — this reflects its overall performance in pharmacy education and research, including postgraduate programmes like M.S. Pharma / M.Pharm.
For comparison, its previous rankings in the same category were:

For admissions to the MPharma and MS courses at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Guwahati students must:
- Complete the course eligibility of having a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related discipline to their chosen programme with a minimum score of 60% (55% for SC/ST 50% for PH).
- While the selection process depends on NIPER JEE scores and counselling process.
