Hi, You can always follow your passion. If you feel confident of growth in the areas of cinematography and photography you can consider doing some full-time programs in these areas. There are many media people with engineering backgrounds. Just, for admissions, you have to convince the universities. You must show them portfolios of these works.

Diploma in Photography is a 1-year graduate Diploma level Photography programme. The minimum eligibility is the 10+2 from a recognized school board or its equivalent exam. Interested candidates can get admission in Diploma in Photography on the basis of candidate's performance in a relevant entrance exam, and a consequent round of counselling. The entrance criteria differ from institute to institute. Please check with the institute itself where you are interested to pursue the course in order to rule out any confusion.
