Candidates should have passed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Degree or equivalent (4 years + 6 months of compulsory internship on or before 31st May of that academic year) from a UGC recognised University in India (on campus full time program).

To eligible for BPT you should have 50% in 12th standard along with that Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology with above mentioned marks. Candidates who studied abroad should possess equivalent qualification as determined by Association of Indian Universities with above mentioned marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology are eligible.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the entrance exam at Jamia Milia Islamia for a Master of Physiotherepy while you are still pursuing your internship. The basic eligibility criteria for JMI entrance exam includes completing BPT from a recognised university. Now, it depends upon the course under MPT that you choose, if it requires internship experience or not. Thus, for the entrance exam, you can appear for it but for further details, it is advisable to connect with the administration.

To be eligible for the MPT course, candidates must make sure to have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with an aggregate of 50% marks. Also, they must have been a graduate of the BPT course. The popular entrance exams conducted for MPT courses are CUET PG, JESAS PG, etc. The average MPT course fee ranges between INR 2,000 and INR 15 Lakh.

Admission eligibility for the Bachelor in Physiotherapy course at KJ Somaiya College of Physiotherapy is passing of 12th standard examination of Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Board (H.S.C.) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) subjects. The candidate should pass BPT from The Tamil Nadu DR. MGR Medical University Chennai or an examination of any
other university accepted by the authority of this university as equivalent thereto. Students who meet the mentioned educational qualification can apply for the course. The selection criteria for the course is merit-based.

A physiotherapy student has an option to pursue higher education after BPT and can also specialize in the field of physiotherapy. BPT graduates are also eligible for courses like hospital administration, business management, public health management & various other postgraduate programs.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET is an entrance exam for admission to medical and dental courses in India. The eligibility criteria for NEET 2021 state that candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent with Physics Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. As you have completed your Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, you are not eligible to appear for NEET 2021, as the exam is for undergraduate courses in medicine and dentistry. Candidates can pursue a Diploma in Physiotherapy after completing their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate score from a recognised board with the Science stream.
