Yes and these are good choices for students who want lower cost and less time to complete the course. 4.5 year BPT is costly for a student and some can opt for Diploma in Physio programme in Lucknow colleges as it mostly costs INR 77,000 to INR 1.09 Lacs and the programme is shorter. For government colleges like SGPGIMS and KGMU, admission is through the Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow.
Whereas, for private colleges like Era University conduct their own written entrance test followed by a personal interview. Some colleges also accept merit based on Class 12 board marks.
