Eligibility for doing Diploma in mechanical engineering is that candidate must have passed 10th standard or its equivalent with at least 35% aggregate marks.
Candidates passing 10th standard from Maharashtra State Board must have Maths/Mathematics (Code 71) and Science & Technology (Code 72) as compulsory subject.

Yes, normal food is available, and there is no such Jain food but the food available without any non-vegetarian, so you can have it.

You have not mentioned here the category you belongs, however the general cutoff for year 2017-18 was 69.6. And, the SC cutoff were 57.4 to 61.2.
