Hello, the average package offered is 7-8 lacs. It isn't true that finance doesn't get high packages offered. In fact one of the highest package this year was offered to finance specialisation.

yes welingkar accept MH-CET score but cut off is above 97% for mms program and for PGDM above 85% candidate may get a call for GDPI selection process.

Hello, for cap seat of MMS, there is no written test. For the institute level seat, it will be a creativity and general awareness based test which will be a factor in your selection.

XIME is better than Welingkar in terms of industry interaction, exposer which is very much important for a MBA student for better career ahead.
And XIME is more reputed than Welingkar, so my recommendation is XIME,

Hello, Welingkar offers a great course in finance. The faculty is very experienced and well versed in their subjects and it is a good mix of core and visiting faculty. Placements are good with average being 7-8 lacs per annum. Most of the students get placed for summers too. Companies like icici bank, axis,axis risk, consultancy companies like tcs, Accenture etc come to campus. Portfolio management, business analyst, risk management, relationship management etc are the profiles offered.

The usual cutoff is between 80 to 85 percentile. So you can be hopeful for making it, if not in the first list, then second or third list. Sit tight, and keep checking the Welingkar website for updates.
