Candidates seeking admission to PhD course at Welingkar Mumbai must have a master's degree with at least 55% aggregate (or equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) or MPhil with at least 55% aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale is required to apply for the PhD course. Final admission to PhD is based on PhD Entrance Test (PET) score conducted by the University of Mumbai followed by a personal interview conducted by the research centre.

This is a very subjective question. Welingkar Institute of Management is a reputed institute for management courses, so getting admission here is not a cup of tea unless you have a decent score in entrance tests like CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA and are prepared well for the group discussion and interview. However, one can also get direct admission subject to payment of higher fees and limited availability of seats.

Welingkar Institute of Management, commonly known as WeSchool has two campuses- one in Mumbai and the other one in Bangalore. The one in Mumbai offers more programs and courses than the one in Bangalore. However, both the campuses have state-of-the-art architecture and are equipped with all modern facilities like full campus Wi-Fi and innovative labs. Also, it provides hostel accommodation to the students.
