Hi, Welingkar accepts CAT along with other entrance exam scores such as CMAT CET, XAT etc. A minimum CAT score of about 80 percentile should ideally get you a GD-PI call. Good luck.

Hi. According to stats Welingkar might seem to be a little better but if you also compare the percentage of students placed then IBS Hyderabad is better than Welingkar in terms of placement which is the most crucial parameter used while comparing any two colleges. Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.

If anyone has CMAT percentile between 95 and 100, he/she can apply for Jaipuria Institute of Management. Remember the CMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT score contribute to 45% weightage only during admission process, other factors like your GD, PI, past experience, and your academic performance contribute to 65%. So, prepare well for the personal interview and group discussion also. Let me share the weightage of scores during admission process, it will clear the doubts from the first part of the question:
Score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT 45% weightage
Case-based Group Discussion - 15%
Personal Interview - 20%
Academic Performance - 15%

Dear soma, Distance MBA is valid where it is used just for eligibility. Don't actually expect any significant skill gain from the programme. Thanks.

Hello,
Congratulations for your CET score. If you're willing to study for another year then you may reappear for the MBA exams; else take admission this year itself.
