Yes, in that case, the next best students are called if wait-listed students are also selected. But that happens rarely so keep your option open at somewhere else too.

Totally depends on personal choice but I think Welingkar Rural PGDM would be beneficial in terms of future scope and the learning matters. The placement here also is better than at IMT.

Sorry but as per my knowledge, the cutoff goes as low as 90%. I think the minimum is for ST caste, and it is still more than at least 96% for general category. Though if you have converted PGDM you can take it.

It is highly subjective so wait for the instructions from your faculty. They will be in better position to help you.If you are going for finance clear the basic level concepts for time being.

Welingkar has two branches with one being in Bangalore and the main campus is in Matunga, Mumbai.
The admission process for PGDM programs includes giving of competitive exams like CAT, CET, CMAT. After initial shortlisting on the basis of score, aspirants have to go through a round of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to get admission in any of the campuses.
Rest details you will get on the official website. Thanks!

This year the placements have been in sync with what has been the general trend at other colleges in this field. The average package was between the range of 7-7.5 LPA. This time too we had a good mix of regular recruiters and plenty of new companies and startups visiting the campus offering roles in all verticals.

You can stand a chance, don't give up till the end. As sometimes, even after the college starts a few admissions happen then as well as some students change the course as CET results come in late. So, don't lose hope till the end.
