No, BDes is not mandatory to obtain to be eligible for MDes Product Design admission. You can have a bachelor's degree in any discipline relevant to your field such as Industrial Design, Automobile Design, etc. Many BTech graduates also opt for MDes programs based on their interests and future goals.

These colleges include both government and private institutions and the course fee structure of these colleges vary depending on the college rating, course curriculum, placement records, etc. However, the average course fee ranges between INR 18,000 to INR 30 Lakh.
