You may keep Unitedworld Institute of Design as an option which provides both UG and PG programme in product design. The institute provides quality education as well as encourage the students to show their creativity. The institute is recognized by Gulbarga University. Faculties over here belong from some of the eminent fashion institutes who guide the students in an effective way.

Design Engineers are required in almost every sector be it automobile, aerospace, shipping, construction, IC design, medical equipments, sports gears and office accessories etc. Industrial designers also carry out extensive research on latest design trends, market values, safety, texture, shape, safety weight and materials to be used before designing a product.

It is tough to state which one is better as every institute has its own plus and minus points. You need to check certain parameters before joining any institute such as:
*recognition.
*success rate.
*how old the institute is.
*course details.
*faculty.
*alumni feedback.
*Specialization offered.
*Past placements records.
*Tuition fees.
*City preference.
*Industry interface etc.
So, think and decide wisely.

Hi Radhika, surely you can pursue a career in Product/ Industrial Design. This field is booming with the advent of 3D Printing. You need to just demonstrate good life drawing skills as well as idea presentation to get into a good college. start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. Product designers design a wide range of items, from day-to-day items like mobile phones to household appliances to cars, to larger things like industrial tools, equipment and machinery, as well as medical products.
