The situation is different with lateral entry (direct second year) into the Information Technology (IT) engineering course at Prof. Ram Meghe College of Engineering and Management (PRMCEM) Badnera where special cutoffs may not be easily published in form of percentiles or ranks as is the case with first-year admissions. The admission is normally to the merit list in the qualifying Diploma in Engineering (IT or related field) or B.Sc degree (with Mathematics) with a minimum of 45 per cent marks (40 per cent to the reserved category). Prof Ram Meghe College of Engineering and Management, Badnera accepts the MHT CET entrance exam, followed by its counselling process for admission to BE and BTech courses. During the last round for the General HS quota, the MHT CET cutoff percentile ranged between 75.65 and 82.88. To view the course and branch-wise last round cutoff details in the General category under the HS quota, refer to the table below:
