No. Compared to all other management entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, XAT, SNAP, TANCET is very much easy. To get admission to PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, it is not compulsory to appear for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). However, TANCET scores are used as a basis for admission to certain postgraduate programs offered by the college, such as MBA, M.E. , and M.Tech. Although all government engineering colleges consider admission only through TANCET counseling for the candidates who also fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Applicants are admitted to the BE/ B.Tech programme through TNEA scores, while ME/ M.Tech admission is done on the basis of GATE or TANCET exam scores followed by TANCA Counselling. Other than the UG and PG courses, the institute also offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. MS across all departments.

it's very nice to see that you are checking out fees before seeking admission. In this Institute the annual tuition fees us about rupees 80000/-. However please do remember that a student will need to pay many more types of fees other than this. Hence you should budget for St least rupees one lakh per year. Best wishes to you.
