The PU CET (PG) application process is completely online. The PU CET (PG) application form will be available online and the students who wish to appear for the exam have to register by filling out the PU CET (PG) application form. The students should have the following documents before filing the PU CET (PG) application form:
- Contact number and email ID
- Scanned recent coloured passport-size photograph
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Date of birth certificate
- Photo ID proof
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (if applicable)

The PU-CET (PG) application fee is different for different categories. The application for PU-CET (PG) exam can be paid online as well as offline. The candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, internet-banking, UPI, etc. or offline through SBI Bank E-challan. Students can apply for multiple programmes in one application form. But they need to pay INR 710 for each additional course The application fee is as follows:

PU-CET (PG) exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. The exam is conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam has five sections and 85 questions. Each section has equal number of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark and has four options each. For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score. The total marks in the PU-CET (PG) exam is 85.

There will be a total of five sections, i.e. General Knowledge, Economics and Business Environment Awareness, Data Interpretation and Provlem Solving, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability/ Reasoning and English Comprehension. Each question in all these sections will carry one mark each with four choices.

There is no update on PU CET (PG) 2025 exam so far. But, looking at the previous year schedule of PU CET (PG) examination, it is anticipated that the exam notification will be released in the first week of March 2025.

The PU-CET (PG) 2025 will be conducted in the PBT test mode like every year. The PU-CET (PG) 2025 will likely be conducted in the second week of June 2025 for admission to the various postgraduate programmes offered by the Panjab University. Students who wish to appear for the exam will be required to fill the PU-CET (PG) application form online using their email ID and mobile number.
