Don't worry about that, same thing happened with a student's father's name. AIPMT helpline told that the correction can be made during counselling. It's a common mistake.

CET is actually based on Current Affairs and reasoning mostly with a bit knowledge in English so if you practice ut online then its enough for your preparation for which google can help you with materials. U can try this way out. This might be helpful for you I guess.

There is no prescribed syllabus. Just to be on a safer side and crack the entrance exam, you should consider Fundamentals of Ecology (Written by Odum and Barrett) as Geeta. In addition, you can consider the following books:
