Public Policy Eligibility

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy offers an MA programme to students at PG level in full-time mode. To be eligible for MA at JSGP, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must have a graduation degree in any stream from a reputed university in India or abroad. 

Candidates must complete a master's degree in a discipline relevant to the research with at least 55% aggregate or equivalent grade to apply for PhD programme at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy. Aspirants must have a score in UGC-NET, UGC CSIR-NET, GATE, etc. for admission to PhD programme.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 examination in any stream from Indian or any recognised board to apply for BA (Hons) programme at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy. Admission to BA (Hons) programme is based on SAT, JSAT, ACT or CUET scores of the candidates.

There is no mention of the exact tuition fee waiver that the MCM scholarship scheme awards to the selected PhD students of Jindal School of Government and Public Policy on either the official website or the brochure. 

Thus, candidates should assume that the scholarship amount or tuition fee waiver received by every eligible PhD student is the same from the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy scholarships.

Candidates can apply for BA (Hons)/ BSc (Hons) courses after completing Class 12 from Indian or any recognised board. Aspirants need to complete a bachelor's degree from a recognised university to apply for MA programme. The selection for UG and PG courses is entrance-based.

The eligibility criteria to get admission into the MA course at the Center of Excellence in Public Policy, Sustainability and ESG Research is that candidates must complete their graduation from any relevant field with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the final selection process, the institute releases a merit list on the basis of candidates achieving scores in their graduation/ bachelor's degree or equivalent. 

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy offers PhD programme. Candidates must pass master's degree or equivalent qualifying examination with at least 55% aggregate, to be eligible to apply for the programme. The course is offered at the doctorate level.

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy receives numerous applications for the admission to MA in Public Policy programme. Selection for the programme will be done through a two-round admissions process that includes a closed book examination followed by a faculty interview.

Students who wants to pursue BA Hons in Economics programme at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy must have passed class 12 form a recognised board or equivalent course from a recognised body.
