Savitribai Phule Pune University, also known as PUMBA is a top college which accepts Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET). 95 percentile in MHT-CET would be a good score to be on the safer side.

The placement is common program for both the campuses. Infact, the academics also goes in the same way. The minimum package is Rs 4.5 lakh per annum which can be attained as per the records of placement batch 2016.

Bangalore is a good location. You will get more opportunities in Bangalore for your live projects and summer internship as compared to Pune. IT-industries and many other known institutes like IISC, HAL, DRDO centres.

Dear Prakhar Saxena,
The following information offers an insight about PUMBA:
For Maharashtra candidates, students have to qualify the MHT-CET exam.
For Outside Maharashtra Candidates (OMS), students can apply through CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/MH-CET, etc.
Therefore, it is not considering CMAT score. Prefer above-mentioned entrance tests.
