Admission to the IIAEIT for 2024 will shortly be available for a variety of B.Tech programs for all 12th grades students with diplomas and PCM, PCMB, or PCB. IIAEIT provides a four-year, full-time BTech programme in aerospace, aeronautical, or avionics engineering at the undergraduate level.

Candidates must pass the AERO-CET, MH-CET, or any other national or state-level engineering entrance exam to be admitted and complete class 12 with a passing grade of at least 50% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.  To graduate from high school, students who did not select mathematics as a subject must take a bridging course at the university or at least 45% overall (40% overall for candidates in the reserved category) in the engineering and technology Diploma program.

For MBA, at this college, a student must have at least 45% marks in 10+2 standard from an recognised board. and should have a valid score in entrance exams like  ATMA UG  or MH-CET UG. As of 2023 the cutoff of MBA at DY Patil University of general category was between 87 to 89 %, for Sc 82 to 84%, and for OBC category 85 to 87% approximately .
