COEP and VIT are both top colleges in Maharashtra, but COEP is the winner. COEP ranks 24th in MHRD rankings, outperforming VIT in terms of recruiters. COEP has a higher placement rate for CSE and an average salary of 7-8 LPA for the CSE department. It is also better in academics and extracurricular activities. However, COEP is not well-known across India, unlike VIT. Therefore, it is advisable to choose COEP over VIT.

At DY Patil International University, the department of management science offers a health centre where students are provided with first aid. The university has partnerships with the best hospitals in this region, so that students can be immediately taken care of. They also have an ambulance van available on campus. The availability of medical facilities has made it possible to provide the students with appropriate health care when needed.

Hostel rooms are of 6 beds in a single room. It's a single bed cost of 50000 per year. The dorm's very full in a hurry. However, at low prices ranging from 25,000 to 30,000, private accommodation is also available. The mess food is good for the first two to four months, and after the college, the mess stays good, but the rest of the hotels serve boring food.

The only way that I've been able to enter the tech world is through BCA. The faculty: student ratio in DYPIU is 1:35 though every teacher has one or two TAs (teacher's assistants) through which managing all the students becomes much better. Teachers are well trained, and if students don't understand certain teacher teaching, they replace the teachers accordingly. The exams are on time, according to the annual calendar. And it's a really hard thing to pass the exam.
