I think you posted this query twice, perhaps by mistake. I have already answered. Please note that, this year seats under lateral mode have been reduced across the board & hence closing percentage could be higher. Best wishes to you.

It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering in lateral mode after completion of your Diploma. Almost all colleges do offer lateral admission. Every college or university has different procedures. Some have their own entrance exams while others offers entrance without any exam or counselling (these are mostly private colleges or universities). Entering in B.Tech after Diploma is called lateral entry as you will be admitted directly in 2nd year.
