Yes, indeed. But firstly, let me appreciate your desire to continue your studies for PG even if in external mode. Savitribaie University offers many courses to external students who for varied reasons are not able to attend regular classes in college. Placement in instrumentation are very good and for M.Tech they are also good mostly depends on your core knowledge and your projects.

Do you belong to any of the reserved categories?
See, the criteria for getting admission in COEP or any engineering college is your percentile (i.e. 50% weightage to HSC score and 50% weightage to CET score).
For getting admission in COEP, your percentile should be above 90. Now, as I calculated your percentile, it is 46.79. Sorry, you will not get admission in COEP.
But you can get other good engineering colleges.
Fill options for all the colleges, even COEP, preference wise. Do not lose hope, you will definitely get good college.

There are many good colleges in Pune area that offer lateral admission. COEP is the best of the lot. But have you registered on the portal of DTE for seeking admission? I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information:
