There are a lot of colleges in Punjab that provide BBA course for graduation, but traditional pedagogies are being used by many of them. I have done my graduation from PCTE Group of Institutes and have had hands on experience during my course. We were involved in a lot of practical activities like RAWAR where we were given weekly targets regarding various marketing activities, we were involved in Consumer Hub where we came up with food, gaming and creative stalls to generate profits, we use to think out the box to bring forth innovative marketing tactics to earn more and more profits. Besides this, to develop confidence and to improve communication skills we gave presentations for every single subject. In the three-year course, I have seen myself developing not only academically but my overall personality has improved a lot. It is really important to wisely choose a college for Fashion Designing because Fashion Designing is a practical oriented programme and requires a person to have a proper understanding about the techniques being used in it. I have done my graduation from PCTE Group of Institutes, PCTE is one of the colleges that provides hands on experience to its students whether its related to basic level of designing where the students are indulged in making sketches, or whether its graphic designing where they are taught professional software like coral draw, photoshop and adobe illustrator. The students also learn how to construct garments of all segments, they learn pattern making, draping which includes surface ornamentation techniques as well. Besides this, the students also present their collection on their annual graduating show.
