Hi,
Both Food processing and industrial design are different. So it solely depend on you that if you are interested to know the techniques behind food processing as well as gain knowledge for it then just move on for food processing engineering in NIT Rourkela. It is a new branch started in NIT Rourkela and very soon it has gained tremendous popularity in the mean time. It has hold a good placement record instead of a new branch. The placements of NIT Rourkela is good. The average placement of the college is around 6-7 LPA. Mostly, all the student got placed. Some colleges don't provide Online education. If you want to do online courses then I would suggest taking admission in IGNOU.

Yes! Undoubtedly. Last year, at the end admissions were made open. Means, if a student hasn't filled thapar form, he/she can get admission in vacant branches. So, yes. Ofcourse.
