The primary eligibility criteria, which is required by the university to get admissions into BA courses, is that candidates must have completed their Class 12 from any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. For admissions to BA in English (Hons), candidates must have ensured that they have studied English as one of their subjects in Class 12 or equivalent.

The admission process for admissions to the BA course is based on merit, which the university evaluates on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their higher senior secondary.
