Admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme is based on the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination and scores obtained in entrance exams like JEE Main. Additionally, candidates can also be admitted through the HSTES counseling process or directly under the management quota.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Alternatively, candidates with a 3-year Diploma in engineering or a D.Voc. stream in the same or allied sector with at least 45% marks are also eligible.

Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
After 10th DiplomaCandidate must have passed 10th Std/ SSC Examination from a recognised board.
B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed 10+2 examination from recognised Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies.
Candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
Candidate must have passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
MBA/PGDMCandidate who have completed Master with 50% marks can also apply.
47.5% for SC/ST for candidates of Haryana.
