The selection criteria at RU are based on entrance exam scores. However, candidates have to complete the last educational qualification as per the respective courses set by the university. The university selects candidates based on RSAT/SAT/UCEED/CUET + Aptitude Test + Past Academic Records + Academic & Extracurricular Achievements + Personal Interview/NSAT Entrance Exam + PI-GD for the BTech course.

Rishihood University offers a residential 4-year programme of Bachelor of Design. Rishihood University admission to MBA course is based on MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ RSAT score. RSAT or Rishihood Scholarship and Admission Test is conducted by the university to shortlist candidates for the MBA course. The shortlisted aspirants are further called for a personal interview round. The university also considers the statement of purpose and academic & extra-curricular activities of the candidates. Besides, the entrance exam, candidates also need to complete graduation from any UGC recognised university with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for the Rishihood University MBA course.
