Following are the factors that influence RPF Constable cut off marks:

  • Number of Vacancies: Higher the vacancies are cut off is less. In case the vacancy is less, the cut off is more.
  • Difficulty level of the exam: If the exam is hard, the cut off is less. In case the exam is easy, the cut off is more.
  • Higher number of candidates appearing in the exam boosts competition thus leading to more cut off marks

To qualify exam candidates must secure RPF Constable cut off marks and qualifying marks. Cut off marks are calculated based on number of vacancies, number of candidates, difficulty level of question papers, etc. Qualifying marks for General Category is 35 per cent for General/OBC/Unreserved and 30 per cent for SC/ST.

RPF Constable cut off marks and qualifying marks are different. The qualifying marks are required to be secured inorder to qualify the exam. RPF Constable cut off is decided based on the various factors as per the category. The cut off is decided keeping in mind the total marks and difficulty level of the exam.
