To prepare for RRB NTPC exam well, you need to first Understand the Syllabus. The subjects covered are General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. For general awareness and mathematics, NCERT Textbooks are preferred. Create a Study Plan and allocate well enough time for each subject. Solve previous year question papers on regular intervals. Take as manyy mock tests as possible for better understanding. Identify your weak areas and focus on improving them.

The salary given for RRB NTPC depends on the specific post and grade level. The basic pay is given and it is the foundation of the salary. There are allowance like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA) and Other Allowances depending on the post and location.  Employees may also receive other allowances such as medical allowance, education allowance, and uniform allowance.

The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam pattern includes:

Total 100 questions with a duration of 90 minutes. The exam has the following sections:

  • General Awareness: 40 questions
  • Mathematics: 30 questions
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 questions

Questions are Objective type with multiple choice answers. 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer, 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

RRB NTPC city intimation slip is released for CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Test, CBAT and document verification. RRB NTPC application form 2024 for undergraduate posts is available from September 21 to October 20, 2024. According to the revised RRB NTPC 2024 eligibility criteria, Candidates applying for the undergraduate posts should be between 18 to 36 years. The revised age limit for graduate posts is between 18 to 33 years.The RRB NTPC Notification 2024 has been released for 11558 vacancies by the Railway Recruitment Board.
