Students have to meet the RV University course eligibility to get admission. The eligibility requirements may change depending on the programme and specialisation. The common eligibility is as below:
- RV University UG eligibility – Class 12 with relevant subjects
- RV University PG eligibility – UG degree in relevant field
- RV University PhD eligibility – PG degree in relevant field

Candidates must meet the BBA LLB (H) eligibility criteria for admission in RV University. The students who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board can apply. There is an age limit of 20 years for the general category candidates. It is 22 years for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.

A candidate should be 10+2 or equivalent in Science or Commerce with min 60% Marks to be eligible to seek admission to BSc programme. Mathematics will not be required as a subject to apply for the course.

At the UG level, RV University offers a BTech programme to the students. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by RV University with a valid score in KCET or RVSAT exam can apply.
The minimum eligibility & selection criteria for admission to BTech programme is given below:

The university conducts RVSAT for providing admission to MA course. The shortlisted candidates are further called for PI round. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
