| MCA | Candidate should have studied Maths at 10+2 stage or at graduation level. |
| BBA | Candidates must have passed 10+2 from recognised board are eligible to apply. |
| B.Com | Candidates must have passed 10+2/PUC/CBSE/ISCE or equivalent examination from recognised board are eligible to apply. |
| BCA | Candidate who has passed JODC or Diploma in Engineering (of three years duration of Govt. of Karnataka) with a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in all the semesters/years are also eligible. |
| M.Com | Candidate must have B.Com/B.B.M or equivalent with mentioned marks in the aggregate in commerce subjects from any recognised university. |

Sagar Polytechnic College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with the mentioned marks (45 % marks in BC Category ) in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University. The qualifying degree obtained by the Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2004). No maximum age limit. |
