Challenging to get admission to Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, SATI. B.Tech admits to the institute after being clear in entrance through JEE Mains and with academic merit. But for some branches like Computer Science as well as in some of the popular branches, most feasible cutoff is 82-85 percentile. Counseling based on entrance exam scores plus academic merit while admission given by DTE, Madhya Pradesh. This process contains more than one counseling rounds. Yes, there is a placement cell available at the Samrat Ashok Technological Institute. They liaises with various industrial establishments and corporate houses like TCS, Infosys, Yes Bank, Reliance Jio, Force Motors, Byju's, etc. to name a few. About 40-50% of the students get a placement every year. The highest reported package till now is 16 LPA. Other students generally get packages of 2-5 LPA.

Students who are willing to take admission at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute for BE/B.Tech should have the following criteria :-
• Students must pass their 12th Examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects.
• Minimum aggregate percentage for SC/ST/OBC is 40% and for others it is 45%.
• Students who have secured good marks in JEE Mains will be given first preference.
