To become a part of SASTRA University, the eligibility for B.Tech courses is mostly depending on your IPE (Intermediate Public Exam) marks and JEE score. SASTRA University calculates a merit score depending on the marks gained in both IPE and JEE exams.

An individual with 89% in Tamil Nadu +2 and above can compete at SASTRA University under Stream 2 for B.Tech courses.

 Stream 2 takes the aggregate in +2 normalized with the marks of students from the same board for the highest rank to fill the seats. Therefore, since reserved 30% of total seats, this score stands competitively when it comes to overall merit and normalization.
Bringing forth SASTRA courses, there are several options falling under B. Tech such as Computer Science, Bioengineering, and Electrical Engineering, to name a few.

In order to be admitted to Sastra University's BTech programme, applicants need to fulfil the following requirements: In their Class 12 exams, they had to have received at least a 60% overall in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology from an accredited board. The entire course cost for Sastra University's BTech curriculum is between INR 4.7 Lacs to INR 7.7 lakhs. Sastra University provides integrated M.Tech programmes spanning two specialisations and BTech programmes across 23 specialisations. Candidates, who are interested to pursue MBA programme at SASTRA Deemed-to-be-University should have a graduation degree of any recognised university from UGC. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are eligible and can apply for the programme.
