The students who want to get admission into the MBA course at SASTRA University must complete their UG degree with minimum 50% marks. The university accepts TANCENT exam for admissions. Alternatively, students can also get MBA admission on the basis of CAT, XAT, CMAT, and AIMCAT scores.

SASTRA University PG eligibility criteria generally requires a relevant Bachelors degree with a minimum marks of 50-60% depending on the programme. Some of the PG programmes requires entrance exam for admission. SASTRA University provides post graduate courses like Engineering, Science, Management, Computer Application, Arts and others.

For SASTRA University's B.Tech CSE program:

- *Eligibility:* Pass 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology; score 60% aggregate; qualify JEE Main.

- *Age Limit:* Under 19 years old as of August 1, 2025.

- *Admission:* Stream 1 (70% seats): JEE Main scores + 12th marks; Stream 2 (30% seats): 12th marks only. Merit-based, no interviews.

Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Maths and one of Chemistry/Biology/CS/Biotech, and 60% aggregate in a single sitting. Admission via Stream1 (50% JEE Main + 50% Class 12) or Stream2 (100% Class12).

Fees: Tuition1.5lakh/year (75k/semester with 5% hike annually), one­-time fees 10k, other charges 7k, hostel ~ 64k.

To become a part of SASTRA University, the eligibility for B.Tech courses is mostly depending on your IPE (Intermediate Public Exam) marks and JEE score. SASTRA University calculates a merit score depending on the marks gained in both IPE and JEE exams.

An individual with 89% in Tamil Nadu +2 and above can compete at SASTRA University under Stream 2 for B.Tech courses.

 Stream 2 takes the aggregate in +2 normalized with the marks of students from the same board for the highest rank to fill the seats. Therefore, since reserved 30% of total seats, this score stands competitively when it comes to overall merit and normalization.
Bringing forth SASTRA courses, there are several options falling under B. Tech such as Computer Science, Bioengineering, and Electrical Engineering, to name a few.

In order to be admitted to Sastra University's BTech programme, applicants need to fulfil the following requirements: In their Class 12 exams, they had to have received at least a 60% overall in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology from an accredited board. The entire course cost for Sastra University's BTech curriculum is between INR 4.7 Lacs to INR 7.7 lakhs.
