SASTRA University PG eligibility criteria generally requires a relevant Bachelors degree with a minimum marks of 50-60% depending on the programme. Some of the PG programmes requires entrance exam for admission. SASTRA University provides post graduate courses like Engineering, Science, Management, Computer Application, Arts and others.

For SASTRA University's B.Tech CSE program:
- *Eligibility:* Pass 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology; score 60% aggregate; qualify JEE Main.
- *Age Limit:* Under 19 years old as of August 1, 2025.

An individual with 89% in Tamil Nadu +2 and above can compete at SASTRA University under Stream 2 for B.Tech courses.
Stream 2 takes the aggregate in +2 normalized with the marks of students from the same board for the highest rank to fill the seats. Therefore, since reserved 30% of total seats, this score stands competitively when it comes to overall merit and normalization.

In order to be admitted to Sastra University's BTech programme, applicants need to fulfil the following requirements: In their Class 12 exams, they had to have received at least a 60% overall in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology from an accredited board. The entire course cost for Sastra University's BTech curriculum is between INR 4.7 Lacs to INR 7.7 lakhs. Sastra University provides integrated M.Tech programmes spanning two specialisations and BTech programmes across 23 specialisations.
