You have a very good percentage in boards but your JEE percentile is not very good. I don't think you will get SASTRA University as it makes the merit list according to the boards as well as the JEE Mains percentile. You can visit: JEE Main Rank Predictor 2024: Calculate JEE Rank From Percentile/Score to check for the college in which you are eligible.

Seeing last year's cutoff students who scored more than 980 marks got the seat and your JEE percentile would also be not that great so you won't get the admission into sastra University.

A candidate with 984/1000 in the Telangana IPE exam and 84.20 percentile in JEE Mains 2024 may have a chance to secure a seat in the CSE or IT branch at SASTRA University. The admission process at SASTRA University is based on a combination of JEE Mains scores and board exam marks, with 70% of the seats allocated based on this combined score. While there is no fixed cutoff for admission to SASTRA University, the candidate's scores are competitive and may be considered for admission to the CSE or IT branch, which are popular choices among students.

Yes, you have a good score for getting admission in the SASTRA University.

There are two types of streams for the admission of B.Tech programs at SASTRA University, which are:

Stream 1: The admission of the 70% of seats are based on JEE Main scores and normalized +2 marks.

Stream 2: The admission of the rest 30% of seats are based only on normalized +2 marks.

Since you have scored 95% in your +2 boards and 80% in JEE Mains, you fall under the eligibility criteria for both the streams, but the final admission would also depend on the cut-off for the specific year, which can vary.

Your HSC board scores and JEE Main scores are used to determine your admission status on SASTRA. Different allotments (quotas) exist, such as Thanjavur. Tamil Nadu, Trichy at large. Aerospace will consider anything above 1100 to be good, whereas seats for Stream 1 admissions will be easy to secure if you meet both the HSC and JEE cut-off points. (The Sastra website explains the admissions processes for Streams 1 and 2.)

Depending on the relative ranking, If you participate in JEE, your rating changes accordingly. Your board score for the AEROSPACE Department should be greater than 1050 if you are not taking the JEE. You can easily gain

SASTRA University BTech seat intake at the main campus is 2265 and at Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre, the seat intake is 420. There is no seat reservation policy followed by SASTRA University. However, admission to 50% of the total seats are done considering the candidate's performance in JEE Mains and Class 12 (equal weightage given to both aspects), and the remaining 50% of seats are filled based on the merit secured in Class 12.
