With an 88% in your 12th grade, and an 86 percentile in JEE Mains 2024, you can get admission to CSE at SASTRA University. It's quite tough as the competition is enormous for this branch, but it is possible.

The process at SASTRA is rather interestingly different: 70% of the seats for this CSE programme are filled based on a composite score comprising 25% JEE Mains and 75% 12th board marks, while for the rest, 30%, admittance is based purely on board marks. Generally speaking, candidates having a JEE Main percentile of more than 90 and scoring more than 95% in boards have a higher chance at getting a seat in the CSE branch.

SASTRA University offers a B.Tech. program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Admission to this program is determined by a combination of JEE Main scores and Class 12th marks. Specifically, 70% of the seats are allocated based on a weighted score comprising 25% from JEE Main and 75% from Class 12th marks. The remaining 30% of seats are filled based solely on Class 12th marks.

The university calculates its own ranks using this weighted formula and does not adhere to external cut-off scores. Therefore, there isn't a predefined cut-off for the B.Tech. in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence program. Admission is competitive, and high

With a 91% in board exams, you have a strong academic foundation for admission to SASTRA University. The university gives weightage to both board exam marks and JEE Mains scores. While your JEE Mains score of 50% may be on the lower side compared to typical cut-offs, SASTRA University also considers board marks significantly. Admission depends on the programme and category. For accurate details, checking the official cut-off or consulting the university's admission office is recommended.

With a 93.60% score in JEE Main and 88% in the CBSE exam, your chances of getting into the CSE branch at SASTRA University look promising. SASTRA University considers JEE Main scores for admission to its B.Tech programs, including CSE. However, the final selection depends on the university's cutoff ranks, which vary from year to year. Meeting the eligibility criteria and a good rank in JEE Main can increase your chances of getting selected for the CSE branch .

Refund Policy at SASTRA Chennai: The institution may allow refunds under certain circumstances. Broadly speaking, however, the institution states that students terminating a course after admission would generally be eligible for refund provided such termination is sought within certain conditions, for example: termination of Course before a specified time, which might otherwise qualify for the early termination but would receive a partial refund. The refund value in such cases would depend upon the time of withdrawal concerning the admission date, and some small amounts may be deducted for administrative work.

SASTRA University carries a good repute for its field of engineering and research level which also means that it has the industrial mobility well connected with what so ever. Its placement rates are impressive, with collaborations from top companies.

SKCET (Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology) — Like previous colleges, this is a respectable college, especially for its engineering departments and their faculty. However, it does not have the national brand power or reach that SASTRA has.

In case you are looking for a more established reputation and large alumni network, SASTRA becomes the ideal choice. This is a good ch
