For Sastra, there is no Cutoff and no minimum percentile required in JEE MAINS.

It is based on 12th percentage and JEE Main mark (SASTRA will calculate like this 12th percentage * 0.75+ JEE MAIN mark * 0.25)

Total- 165 marks.

Based on your score out of 165 they will alot a admisssion.

Therefore, there is no minimum percentile you need.

However, you need to score good marks in both (12th and JEE MAINS).

Both colleges are prestigious compared to other top institutions but B.Tech  in Chemical Engineering has better scope in the future than B.Tech in Pharmacy, since it has a good placement and better job opportunities, in the coming time, the demand for chemical engineers will go up in the future.

Possibilities are quite low to get into CSE IT group of sastra but still you can try for 2nd and 3rd round of counselling But you may able to get into Non IT group of sastra. Considered both for higher possibilities of admission.

Well you can get a seat in SASTRA but if you are looking for a seat in the most sort after branches, it is not possible like CS or IT. there are some courses like biotechnology in which seats remain empty but you should not go for any degree just if you are not getting better programme.

Sastra University, located in Tamil Nadu, conducts its own admission process for engineering programs. They consider JEE Main scores as part of their admission criteria. However, it's important to note that securing a free seat (tuition fee waiver or scholarship) at Sastra University is highly competitive, and the availability of such seats may vary each year.

To increase your chances of securing a free seat at Sastra University, you can consider the following steps:

1. Check Sastra University's admission website: Visit Sastra University's official admission website to understand their specific criteria, eligibility requirements, and det

CSE & ECE are the top branches and are not easy to get with this rank. You still got some chances for ECE but none for CSE. You might get some lower branches as number of seats are about 1500-2000 and 70% reservation are for stream 1.
