A variety of specialisations are available in the BE and BTech degrees offered by Saveetha Engineering College (SEC). The only candidates who can get in are those from Tamil Nadu. Admission is determined by TNEA counselling and merit. Candidates who have been shortlisted are invited to counselling, where seats are distributed according to merit. Saveetha Engineering College TNEA closing rank in 2024 was 16240 for BE Computer Science Engineering. In comparison to closing rank in 2022 and 2023, there is improving trend. In 2022, BE CSE rank was 17676 and in 2023, it was 18773.
The TANCET closing cutoff for SEC MBA of last three-years shows a declining trend. The cutoff was 2280 in 2022, 2895 in 2023 which declined to 3812 in 2024.
