SBI PO final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam and Group Exercises. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The weightage given to the various phases of the exam at the time of preparing the final merit list is as follows:

The COVID-19 guidelines for SBI PO exam are given below:
- Mapping of candidate’s roll number and lab number will not be displayed outside the exam hall but the same will be intimated to the candidates individually at the time of the entry of the candidate to the exam venue
- In view of COVID-19 pandemic, it is mandatory to wear mask
- Candidates can wear gloves and carry personal hand sanitiser of 50 ml
- Candidates can also carry their personal transparent water bottle
- Rough sheets should be kept at the desk of each candidate
- Candidates must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of the lab/venue while leaving or at the desi

Candidates must bring stationery such as pencils, glue, eraser, ink stamp pad and ballpoint pen with them to the examination hall. Electronic items are not allowed.

The details regarding the SBI PO exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card. The admit card comprises details such as the candidate's name, roll number, category, exam date, time, details of exam centre, scanned photograph, and signature. Candidates need to appear for the exam in the centres allotted to them. The admit card of candidates are verified at the exam centres. Candidates should keep the authenticated prelims admit card and photo-identity proof safely because they will require it at the time of the Mains exam. Candidates without the Mains admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Candidates can choose one SBI PO exam city each for prelims and Mains exams. They are required to enter their preferences for exam cities while filling out the form. The exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their preferences. But, in case of unavailability of exam centres, candidates are allotted to the exam centre other than the one selected by them. You can not change the test centre after the final submission of the application. Candidates should choose the exam centres carefully as it cannot be changed later.

The Mains exam of SBI PO is conducted in around 70 cities. The Mains exam comprises objective-type and descriptive-type questions. Total marks allotted to the test are 250.
