The details regarding the SBI PO exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card. The admit card comprises details such as the candidate's name, roll number, category, exam date, time, details of exam centre, scanned photograph, and signature. Candidates need to appear for the exam in the centres allotted to them. The admit card of candidates are verified at the exam centres. Candidates should keep the authenticated prelims admit card and photo-identity proof safely because they will require it at the time of the Mains exam. Candidates without the Mains admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Candidates can choose one SBI PO exam city each for prelims and Mains exams. They are required to enter their preferences for exam cities while filling out the form. The exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their preferences. But, in case of unavailability of exam centres, candidates are allotted to the exam centre other than the one selected by them. You can not change the test centre after the final submission of the application. Candidates should choose the exam centres carefully as it cannot be changed later.

The Mains exam of SBI PO is conducted in around 70 cities. The Mains exam comprises objective-type and descriptive-type questions. Total marks allotted to the test are 250.

The English Language section is also the most important in SBI PO Examinations, along with the Quantitative Aptitude section. This section holds 30 and 40 marks in Prelims and Mains examinations, respectively. Additionally, 50 marks are allotted to the descriptive test. The syllabus includes the following topics such as Reading comprehension, Error correction, Cloze Test, Para jumbles, Fill in the blanks, Idioms and phrases, Synonyms, Antonyms. In 2020, a total of 2000 vacancies were unannounced for SBI PO exam. Out of the total vacancies, a total of 810 vacancies were unannounced for General category, 200 for EWS category, 540 for OBC, 150 for ST, 300 for SC. SBI PO 2020 vacancies are given below.

In 2019, a total of 2000 vacancies were announced for Probationary Offices (PO) post. Out of the total vacancies unannounced, 300 are for SC, 150 for ST, 540 for OBC, 200 for EWS and 810 for general category candidates. There were no backlog vacancies unannounced in this year.
