Candidates can check the following exam day guidelines:

  • Carry two photographs along with your SBI admit card and one photo ID proof
  • Reach the exam centre 30 minutes prior to the time mentioned in SBI admit card
  • Ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, etc. will be thoroughly checked
  • Bring pencils, eraser and a ballpoint pen
  • Textbooks, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculators, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc are not allowed
  • Mobile phones, bluetooth, earphones, microphones, pager and health band are not allowed
  • Any eatable item opened or packed and water bottles are not all

Candidates need to carry any one of the following photo-identity proof (both original and photocopy) to the exam centre:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Driving License
  • Voter’s Card
  • Bank Passbook
  • Identity Card issued by School or College/Gazetted Officer

Candidates who wish to become law officers in SBI must possess Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognised university in India. A degree in Banking law would be an added advantage for the candidates. Furthermore, candidates must be enrolled as Advocates with the Bar Council of India. Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience as a practicing Advocate or Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks or 4 years combined experience as practicing advocate and Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks.
