Naveen Chandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development is a privately run institute and hence its expenditure is met from the fees collected from the students. As a result, not only this institute but institutes similarly placed have hardly any financial leverage to offer scholarships to students. However, the Government of Maharashtra offers reimbursement of tuition fees to students who come from socially challenged sections. In addition to this one or two students do get reimbursement of tuition fees from private people who donate for this purpose.
