VESIT offers the following Scholarships to meritorious and needy students:

1) Students Aid Scholarship :
The criteria for this scholarship is that the student should have a score of at least 7.00 grade and family income of less than one Lacs per annum. Scholarships of Rupees Fifteen thousand each are given to 25-30 students across all departments every year.

2) Vivekanand Jyoti Scholarship :
One meritorious student from each department is given this scholarship. An Amount of Rupees Twenty five thousand each is given every year. The criteria is a grade point of at least 7.00 and family Income of less than one Lacs per annum.

3) Sahayog Scholarship :
This is a scholarship by the students for the students. Any fund collected by students is used to fund one or more students.

VESIT collge offers some scholarship programs for B.Tech students who are needy they are :

1)Purandare Awards.

VIIT students have the opportunity to win a sum of Rs. 85000/-in honor of the late Shri. D. N. Purandare, courtesy of the IET Mumbai Network. The annual interest earned and the amount to be invested in a fixed deposit are given out annually. The winner of the First Year Post Graduate Electronics and Telecommunication (E&TC) Student Award is selected.

2) Chinmay Zawar Best Project Award

The Best Project Award from Chinmay Zawar. The best final year project will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand) at the National Conference for Students in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (NCSEEE) that academic year.

IIST offers financial aid to students accepted into B.Tech and dual degree programs, which is financed by the Department of Space (DoS), Government of India. The assistantship/scholarship pays for costs like tuition, student amenities, a hostel with food, establishment fees, and medical costs. There is also an extra book allowance of Rs. 3000 given each semester.

For students (apart from those in the SC, ST, and PD categories) who maintain a minimum Grade Point Average  of 7.5 in each semester, this assistantship will be extended past the first semester. If this doesn't work, students have to pay the pre-notified prices for the following semester, which include tuition, student amenities, a hostel, food and establishment charges, and medical costs.
