The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra has a scholarship policy that is based on merit to encourage high academic achievements. Scholarships: Merit students of B.Tech can be granted full or part fee exemptions. In particular, full fee scholarships go to only those students who obtained 90% or more in Class 12 examinations irrespective of castes or creeds. The reserved category students have a little more relaxed score requirements - 85% for SC/ST students and 75% fee reimbursement for OBC students.
