NSOU scholarship schemes include all the Central, UGC/AICTE and State schemes mentioned on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
There is no provision of scholarship and No financial aid was received. There is no annual fest or programme or anything like that. Very Helpfull University.

- Undergraduate degree: CUET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test)
- Post-graduate: CSIR/UGC NET and interview round
- MBA: CMAT, MAT, CAT, or XMAT
Students willing to take admission in any Undergraduate course offered by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi must have a valid CUET Score Card and must have filled online Application Form on Chancellor's Portral.

- Merit Scholarship Nirma: Top 5 students receive Rs.1,000,000 annually each. Subsequent 20 pupils: Rs.90,000 year each. Next 25 pupils: Rs.50,000 year each.
