The KTH India Scholarship is aimed specifically at students from India. All the scholarships for international students at KTH cover the tuition fee of a one or two year master’s programme. All Indian students applying for scholarships must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• One must be a fee-paying student applying for a master's programme at KTH as the first priority.
• Students should have completed UG programme in India and must be an Indian citizen.

As the scholarship is awarded primarily on the basis of academic excellence, therefore only students who meet the admission requirements of the programme applied for are eligible for a scholarship.

Yes, In NERIST the SC/ST students of North Eastern states are generally provided with stipends by the concerned state and Central governments at varying rates. The North Eastern Council (NEC) also provides scholarship to the students of the region for their study at Degree and higher levels. The students can also apply for various scholarships schemes available to them as per eligibility through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The continuance of stipend/scholarship is subject to the following conditions:

• His/her maintenance of discipline in the Institute is consistently good and he/she is regular in the classes. Unauthorized
  absence from the Institute/Hostel is treated as a lapse of discipline.
• Satisfactory progress in his/her studies

The American University offers a variety of scholarships to full-time international students. These scholarships are awarded based on merit, academic excellence, and the achievements of applicants. 

International students who wish to avail the scholarships provided by American University should apply for the Fall (August) semester instead of the Spring semester. The applicants must select the checkbox for scholarship aid in the application form. The scholarship award is communicated to the applicants along with their acceptance letter.

 Merit Awards for International First-Year Students

These are partial scholarships awarded to outstanding applicants who prove their expertise in academics, English proficiency, personal qualities, and community service. All the applicants who academically qualify for the university's scholarships are automatically considered eligible for part-time scholarships.

Graduate Students Merit Awards

International applicants of Masters and doctoral study programs may be offered a partial scholarship according to merit and language proficiency. These are partial scholarships available to only a handful of students.

International Scholarships

Some scholarships are exclusively available for international students. These may be offered by the government of their country, or by the university administration.

Fellowship and Stipend

Research-based Masters and doctoral courses offer applicants fellowship opportunities in return for their research service to the respective department. Some applicants may also apply for a stipend in exchange for teaching or research service.

Gems B School offers scholarships for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped students and female students pursuing undergraduate and Post-graduation. The income of the parents should not exceed INR 1 Lakh per annum and such students can also apply for Scholarships.

• For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10th and 12th class scores will be computed as follows:

  • For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
  • For Class XII Score: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English (total of four subjects)

BBA

For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10^th and 12^th class scores will be computed as follows:

• For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
• For Class XII Score: English and three subjects of applicant’s choice (total of four subjects)

BCA

For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10^th and 12^th class scores will be computed as follows:

• For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
• For Class XII Score (for BCA): English, Maths/Physics/Economics/Accountancy/Computer Science/Informatics Practices and two subjects of applicant’s choice (total of four subjects)

B.Des

• Academic Performance in Class X and XII marks. 
• Performance in JKLU-DET & Portfolio Round.
