Eligibility for Master of Planning - URP at MIT School of Architecture:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Civil Engineering, or Technology with minimum 55% marks.
- OR Master's degree in Geography, Sociology, or Economics with required marks.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Master of Architecture (M.Arch) programme at MIT School of Architecture require candidates to have a B.Arch. degree from a recognised university with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 or 55% aggregate marks. Additionally, candidates need a valid GATE score or a valid score of the Common Entrance Test (PERA-CET) conducted as per the rules and regulations of MIT ADT. As per the selection process of MPlan at MIT School of Architecture, students must get a UG degree in Architecture/ Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Technology and a PG degree in Geography or Sociology or Economics with a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.50 CGPA (5% relaxation for reserved category). Aspirants who apply with a valid score of GATE will be given preference. Non-GATE candidates can also apply via scores of PERA CET.

Those who are willing to get admission to BArch course at MIT School of Architecture must either pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as subjects or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. It is a mandatory step to qualify before applying for the course.
