Aspiarnts should complete Class 12 with 50% aggregate in Class 10 and class and 12 from a recognised board. It doesn't matter if the student is from Biology stream or Computer Science stream. Admission to the BSc in Physics program at UPES depends on the individual's performance in Personal Interview.

As its name goes like UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) it is best for studying Petroleum engineering. But according to current placement scenario you can prefer Cse at UPES. The placements are also good as top companies like Panasonic, Adani Group, Asian Paints, Schlumberger, ONGC visit the campus.

UPES School of Advanced Engineering. However, the total seats for M.Tech. programs at UPES are mentioned as 160. This number may not be specific to the School of Advanced Engineering but rather an aggregate for all M.Tech. programs offered by UPES. To find the exact number of students enrolled in the M.Tech. programme in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or any other specialization, one would need to consult the university's official website or contact the admissions office directly.

Yes, UPES School of Advanced Engineering accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its B.Tech programs, along with other eligibility criteria.

The university also conducts its own entrance management exam, UPESEAT, for students who did not appear for any national level engineering test. This provides applicants with multiple options for admission. You can get the direct admission in this by management quota or there is NRI quota like other B.Tech colleges
