MIT SOM is one of the top most management institutes in Maharashtra.
Placements and exposure are good including the education quality. Average package offered is 7-8 LPA.
There are some other top private colleges in Maharashtra that are as good as MIT.

2. INDIRA COLLEGE
3. BIMM
4. ISB&M
5. WELINGKER
6. KJ SOMAIYA
These college also have admission on the basis of management seats. However, very few seats are there at institutional level.

Last year placement analysis is as follows:- (1) Specialisation wise Placement details: 33 percent of students placed in finance, 10 percent of students placed in HR,11 percent of students placed in IB, 36 percent of students placed in marketing and rest 10 percent of students placed in operations. Hello! At 61 percentile in the CET, it is impossible to get admission into a good college since the cutoffs of all such colleges are generally 99+ (for the MS course). I suggest you wait for a year and give another try with much better study preparation. All the best!
